Stoped by for breakfast on Memorial Day and the place was busy! A lot of locals which is always a good sign! Service was friendly even if it did take longer than expected for our food to arrive. However once it did the food was excellent and the breakfast tacos were awesome with fantastic salsas to compliment! Definitely recommend for breakfast (haven't yet tried their lunch).

Do not judge this "strip mall" locally owned restaurant. I had the mamacitas plate. Which included 2 enchiladas, 1 chile relleno, 1 gordita, and 1 taco, rice, beans and guac and lettuce. You get a choice of meat in the gordita and taco. Everything was tasty except for the carne asada (just the meat). The tortillas and Gordita was tasty. I would highly recommend the al pastor meat as it was what I had in my taco. Will be visiting this place when I travel to Clovis.

Very professional staff. Ordered to go for a work breakfast and everything came labeled with extra sauces. The breakfast burritos were delicious and ready on time.

The King burrito is no joke. Unless you fancy yourself an amatuer competitive eater the King should satisfy the heartiest of appitites. I had the carnitas and waddled out. I do wish they had a smothered option but the table salsas did the trick. Service was pleasant. The decor left something to be desired. It looked like a slow interior designer said "make it look like a crappy rundown italian villa" and Foxnews on the tv didn't help. All in all I was thankful my first meal in Clovis was tasty! Thank you mamacitas!

Not a fan of Mexican food, but my friends insisted that Mamacitas had the best breakfast burritos. The drive out to Clovis from Portales is not too bad - about 20 minutes and there is almost never traffic. The restaurant is located in a pretty small plaza with a good number of parking spots. There was a pretty good crowd inside the restaurant when we came on a late Saturday morning. Plenty of tables and chairs, and the service is super friendly and nice. Complimentary chips and salsa. Chips are pretty regular - nothing too special about the tortillas, but they are fresh and crispy. Comes with both the green and red salsa dip. I can take spicy foods, but both of these were spicy! Really wakes you up. Breakfast is served daily from 7-11 AM. We got there right at 11, but luckily they agreed to let us order off the breakfast menu still. Chorizo y papa (Mexican sausage and potato): At $3.25, these breakfast burritos are a steal. Very big portion and the tortilla is stuffed with ingredients inside. They're served with 1 choice of salsa, but the salsas were a bit too spicy for me, so I just went without. I thought the overall taste of the burrito was pretty good. Potatoes were soft, and the Mexican sausage gave the burrito enough flavor. There's already some flavoring inside the burrito, so eating it without any salsa was fine. Portions were so big that I was able to eat the other half for dinner that night. Chorizo y huevo (Mexican sausage and egg): This definitely seemed more breakfast-y with the egg instead of potato. I tried a bite from my friend and felt this one tasted better than the potato and sausage. The eggs give the burrito that fluffiness, and cooked with the sausage, there's enough flavor and texture that really fills your stomach as a result of a good breakfast meal. I would order this again if I ever returned. They also sell a variety of drinks here. We saw the horchata and agua frescas after we paid, and the worker was nice enough to let us try the drinks. Not a big fan of horchata either, but the flavor was spot on. I could smell it from the cup. The lime agua fresca was amazing! I really wish I had gotten a cup. tl;dr - A great place to get your fill of breakfast or Mexican comfort food if you're in the area. I'm not a big fan, but even I liked it! I feel like it can get crowded on Sunday afternoons after church, so plan ahead!
